Good morning !! We have arrived at another Friday and this one happens to also be an end of another month. You will not be able to celebrate February again until 2015, and life just keeps marching on. It's been awhile since I've had a chance to fill you in on what's happening at the Ray families house. I have really had my hands full trying to get our affairs in order.
One of the projects is getting Jacob's future and affairs in order. When I was going through his documents I came across his adoption papers, and was reminded that it was on my birthday March 16, 1990 at 11:53 AM his name was changed from Jacob Buyong Mo Kim to Jacob Buyong Mo Ray. He has been a source of love, humor, help, frustration and company ever since. When he first came to us, he was in survival mode and his most important objective was food and not losing sight of its source. He has grown to appreciate his family and loves showing his affection to one and all. Anybody that has been around him knows that he always has a positive attitude and doesn't judge you in any way. He has a routine of coming into our bedroom very early every morning to give us sincere hugs and kisses, and there will be more impromptu love fest through out the day. He also gets really attached to our animals. It has always been his job to feed them so they love him also.
There hasn't been a lot to report as far as changes in Diane's life situations. She doesn't seem to have her extreme anxiety swings, and so obsessed with fear. I don't know if I appreciate the fact that this is probably the sign of her disease progressing. She is becoming more and more dependent on others for basic needs. Diane is having a really hard time with her balance and falls down way to often. We took her to Winco the other day and she did pretty good for awhile pushing the Grocery Cart and using it for support, but it was probably less than a half hour before her legs become so weak I didn't know if we could get her to a place to sit.
side note: I usually put Diane's shoes on early so she will be ready when she wants to get up. When she did get up, she started complaining that her feet hurt. Well ! they probably would if they are on the wrong feet?
