Good morning this beautiful Saturday morning, I hope that the Sunshine is shining on and inside you this day. It's really quiet in the Ray household this morning. Jacob is watching ESPN and eating his cereal , he has already been in with our Coffee and gave us our hugs and kisses. We have gone over with details the next few days and "Yes" Tim will be picking you up for church in the morning and Joe is playing baseball today. Diane did get up for a couple minutes, but decided to lay back down and relax. WOW !! I bet you can't believe what and exciting life we live!!
After a lot of prodding by my family and friends we are finely having someone come in to help. We went through the process of getting support and was approved for up to one hundred thirty two hours a month. I have to admit that this has been difficult for me in a lot of different ways. You have to plan your activities around the time that you have set aside for someone to come around. It's really early in this process and I'm sure I will eventually figure it out. At the present time our Caregiver is coming in three times a week from Nine AM to Three PM. In the past when I was out I was on a mission, now I can take my time and just look around. Diane for the most part has done OK with having someone help with her care. Yesterday she was not cooperating in any possible way from going to the bathroom, taking her Med's, changing clothes and eating her breakfast. When our Caregiver got here Diane all of a sudden became a good girl and was giving me a smirky smile.
Yesterday I decided to go have breakfast and was thinking about where I could eat that would be familiar. I decided on Biscuits Cafe and when I was walking up I noticed a past client of ours with her husband preparing to eat. I knocked on the window and got her attention, when she acknowledged me and came over to greet me, I boldly asked if they would mind if I joined them. What could they say ? I hadn't seen her for two years and her husband is a really nice guy. I had a great time !!
Diane still remembers me most of the time and can be quite charming at times. She is really failing physically with the strength and balance in her legs, and hasn't been able to feed herself for awhile. Her moods can really swing dramatically so you have to stay prepared.
I know it's been awhile since I've talked to you and I apologize . I have more I want to share with you so we will talk soon.

Moving Forward !! not forgetting the past
