Yesterday I visited a friend of ours that I hadn't seen in about twenty five years and was blown away by the Highs and Lows of her family and our friends. She lost her husband who was a good friend of mine at the young age of forty. He was one of the most active examples of a person who lived life to the fullest I have ever known. He had a Heart Attack while riding bikes with his Son, but his Legacy never stopped and his positive imprint is on every part of their lives.
When I first met Ed he was a Flat Track Motorcycle racer with a National No. "57" I believe. I don't know all his achievements ,but I know he was a Millwright and an accomplished Carbide Saw Filer. He was married and had two children a boy and girl . He became a successful entrepreneur starting his own Saw & Lawn mower business.
Yesterday when I drove up to ED's, mower & saw shoppe I was impressed by how professional everything looked, and when I went inside I got a hug from this very professional and beautiful young lady. This was "Judy" Ed's wife and she hadn't really changed a lot except for her mature attitude towards life. His children have enhanced his family tree with five Grand kids and socially rewarding careers .
Even if you live to be a hundred when you look back you will believe it went by pretty fast. Everyday there are babies being born and loved ones dying and we all will experience both. When we are born hopefully we can fill the shoes of those that are leaving.
I think about Diane's situation now and it looks pretty sad and dire, but even in this situation when we look at the whole picture we realize she is still having a major affect on all of us. Family logistics have changed to the better because of you "Diane" . When you are sleeping we have no other choice but to talk to each other.
